I'm having problems working out the engine - it's not a V8 because the carbs are on the side of the block. Is it an inline 6-cylinder?

Because the carbs are on the side of the block and not in the centre. Never seen a V8 like that - I must research further.

There are fourWeber DCOE's on curved inlet-manifolds in the centre of the block.
