Cooper Chinook Formula Ford 1970

nicanary

Well found, but I would argue that it isn't British. It was built in Canada from parts purchased from the old Cooper Co. when it closed down.  ;D  No wonder I couldn't find it.

I'm sorry for nicanary, but it's true that I'm very far from having the automotive knowledge like some members of this site.  On the other hand, everything I learn from this site is enormous and above all allows me to complete my automobile database which is far from complete (for the moment, I have 19,500 cars listed)

nicanary

Don't worry about it - you are a valued member on this site. From what I've read in Doug Nye's excellent Cooper history, I doubt there's much Cooper content in this car.

Chinook was built by the Fejer brothers in Canada. Rudy Fejer is still with us over 90 and has great tales to tell.
