Let's have some fun!
Please identify what is the make and model of this car?
Starting in Pro section, because I honestly think and hope that this one is extremely hard nut to fully crack.
Good luck! :)
P.S. This car and photo is not uploaded on my website, yet.
P.P.S. Are pro puzzles open to Master puzzlers?

The image appears to have been taken at Ford's Product Development Center in Dearborn in the 1960s. An early version of the Bearcat concept?

That's I'd say an easy part. What is the nameof it?
It was made at the same period as the Bearcat.

Could it be one of the 'Quarter Horse' Shelby Mustangs, a couple of prototypes of which were built in the late 1960s before Ford pulled the plug on them in 1970?
A picture of one is below and it has some similarities to the puzzle car, which does look to me like some kind of Mustang prototype, but perhaps a Mach 1...
-

Yes! It is combined of two words. One of them describes body type.

Yes!!
-
Mullicoupe?
-
Sportcoupé?
-
No x 2, but coupe is indeed the second part of the name.
-
OK, so the first part of the word is:
Not a name that has been used by Ford on any other car, which rules out names like Galaxie or Thunderbird
Not an animal, so that rules out anything like Mustang
Not a place, so that rules out anything like Milano or Monaco
Not space-themed, which rules out anything like Venus or Zephyr
Not Latin/Italian so it's probably English
Not a person's name, so rules out anything like Edsel
Not related to speed so that rules out any words like Jet
Not a bird, so anything like Eagle is ruled out
Not a body type as the other part of the word is already that.
What's left? A made-up word or one that would be in a dictionary, like Excel for instance?
-
Not an artificial word. It is a proper noun.
-
A car-related word or something common, like Super (hence Ford Supercoupé)?

Here's a little more information about this interesting car.
Note that the lettering on the front of the bonnet (hood) just above the grille says "TAUNUS", which figures if you read the article.
It's odd that this car is so unknown, even on the Ford websites which claim they picture "every Ford concept car ever"!
