This one is a complete mystery to me.

I think it is an early postwar creation from Italy,
maybe built by a motorcycle company?

I found it in the internet with the caption "HERO-3" - any idea?

However this is all speculation and I would love to learn more about it
and that someone might be able to identify this one.

Those look like gas meters on a wooden lift out tray. I haven't found the same sort, but similar.

grobmotorix

I am sure you are right with the meters.
What I am not so sure about is if this might hint into the right direction to find the company that built this vehicle.

Rusty Chrome

Italian + gas led me to this image, which appears to show the same type of van in use by Italgas. I couldn't identify the make, possibly Officine Meccaniche, as it echos the shape of the radiator grill on some of their smaller commercial vehicles, although I couldn't find anything similar. The original photo does look very much like the Goggomobil van, but the wheels are too big and the Goggo doesn't appear to have ever been produced with the corrogated panels if you exclude the Spanish F-350 Furgoneta, which is entirely different.

Another image. The logo seems different from OM, but rather a three-letter name (I-M-?) Does it help ?

Sorry for the belated reply - notifications do not work anymore...

Thank you all for your contributions and answers - those two photos are great!

Hiawatha - what about your Ferrando guess - do you have proof?

Hiawatha

Have a look at TGF 500 (Targhediferro) solved puzzle. We are nearly sure that your puzzle's van is

an earlier version.

If ther was only ONE photo vailable anywhere I would love to award this point...

Can we make this puzzle available to everyone (by moving it to 'Masters') and see where it goes?

targhediferro

I found a name, IMA, but I actually don't know what this three letters mean.
