Does anyone recognize this car which was shown on an Italian concours? Who built it and what chassis was it made on?

I'll answer the easy bit.
It is an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300. Chassis 2211066 to be precise.
Today is a spider by Touring.

I don't know much about this Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 #2211066. Simon Moore's description: The first SWB Touring Coupé (modified)

Took part at the 'Concorso Romano delle Carrozziere' held at the Terrazza del Pincio in the Villa Borghese Gardens at the 01-July-1936
