Can't agree with you. Sorry. Not that I share their opinion, but it is in the end an opinion.
Not sure why they would show this in the US as the program really is British (British bias and at if I would be very friendly euro-centric) and is not relevant for the US (I think many cars shown are not sold in the US or would not be bought in that spec in the US).
But beyond their "anti-US" attitude it does a better work of informing the public about cars. Top Gear is mostly Jeremy shouting "This is the best car I have ever driven" (and also saying he doesn't say it often... pff!), their rather pathetic races that used to be funny but have become too scripted. The whole show come to think of it.
