A Request for our Veterans
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:41:06 AM »
All,

Of late, a number of puzzles have been added with instructions such as "you know what to do" or "you know the drill", etc. In the interest of not alienating newcomers to the site, please take a few minutes to give a brief instruction to those who might be inclined to reply to your puzzle. "Please reply with the make and model of this car to earn one point", for instance.

I, for one, would like more Rookie to come here and feel as welcomed as you did when you arrived. "You know what to do" reads like an "insiders only" statement.

Thank you.

I for one DON'T know what to do, which has been abundantly apparent on many occasions.

Good idea, Senor Puzzell

Fixed.

BTW why don't we post a "Hello Newcomer" thread where the new ones can introduce themselves (if they like to)?

I am not sure that this has been read.
It's always time to modify your still unsolved puzzles.

I don't think much attention has been paid to that.
So let's give it a little more light.
