Now as far as I am aware I am NOT a moderator. So can one of the real moderators check what happened.

I have received e-mails of this type for some time now. I'm an IT incompetent, but I reckon our fellow member has misunderstood the system for moving puzzles after solution. Can anyone enlighten me ( and you) ?

I'm not sure if the site is still having some admin problems, but yesterday I was unable to award a point to ChanceHuncha for correctly solving a puzzle (which I still owe him), and now I just tried to post some new puzzles in the Rookie section, but I don't seem not able to. Any ideas and/or a solution will be very much appreciated. Thank you  :).

I can't think of any reason for those problems but will look into it and see if I can find anything.

I've had a look through but I can't see anything which would prevent you from doing those things.
I've given ChanceHuncha a point for you; have the [add] [subtract] points texts disappeared or are they still there but don't work?

Thank you Carnut. The Add and Subtract points texts have disappeared, as has the 'New Topic' button to add a new puzzle. All very odd.

If it's any help, the add/subtract options still appear for me.  Is it something to do with the status problem we had?  As an editor I can still award points, but maybe other members can no longer do this?
