I may be offline from December 26th through January 1st.  I am going to a 4-day rally school in New Hampshire, and I am not sure how much time I will have for the internet.

I'll be leaving for Oregon and Washington (state) on Monday (02/10/2013) to attend an LSR reunion and to do some work for the Target 550 team.  I dunno if I'll have time to visit here very much for the next coupla weeks.

Strange; 10th February here was a Sunday...
Hope you got your tickets for the right day!

Duh.   :bag:  I didn't realize that my brain was off a day until I was talking with my sister (who lives in Arizona) and she reminded me that, right there, in the lower right-hand corner of my monitor, it sez, "Sunday, 2/10/2013".  Oops.  Well, I'm driving, cuz I have a lotta computer and A/V stuff to deliver and install...so I guess I can't be all that late, cuz I'm leaving in the morning...which will be the right day,

RayTheRat

Finally home.  A little trip that lasted almost 2 weeks and a couple thousand miles, but was well worth it.  It's gonna take me forever to catch up...if I do before "car season" starts (well, it starts tomorrow with an indoor car show...but it'll be quite a while before the weather allows outdoor activities/work in the unheated garage.)

I'll post some photos of stuff that went on while I was in Oregon when I get stuff transferred from my laptop.

From tomorrow (1 March) I will be travelling extensively around mainland Europe (including the two Press Days at the Geneva Salon, if any fellow AP users are around to possibly meet-up?), so sorry, but no regular answers from me for the next two weeks.

Though I received a PM, I will not be able to respond until Monday.

I'm off for a few days. See you next Friday.

I'll be on the road a lot in for a few weeks, beginning tomorrow, so please bear with me. I'll answer puzzle guesses as time allows

"Car season" has started here in the high desert...well, it had...until we got 70 mph winds and snow today.  "If you don't like the weather here, just wait 30 minutes...." just like everywhere else, I guess.  Anyway, I hope to be spending a lot more time on my race car and my Camaro and, like Otto, I'll be on the road for several trips before "salt flats season" starts in August.  I'll be going to California in a week and I don't know how long that trip will be.  Until I run out of clean clothes in my suitcase, I guess.  I'll be a little busy until October.  But I'll do my best to check in when I can.

I flew over the the Great Salt Lake yesterday, on route to a layover in Salt Lake City. Beautifully scenic setting for that city! Back home for now, on the road again in a few days.

I thought that might have been you waving in that plane.   :lmao:

You were pretty easy to see with this setup:

I'm going to be abroad on business all next week (21-27 April) so answers from me are going to be slow at best.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to log in from the hotels occasionally.
Back Saturday afternoon 27/04!

I'm going to be a sporadic visitor in the next few months due to concentrating on a new work-related project.
I will however check new posts regularly so I apologise for any delays in my reples.
I'll post some new puzzles in the not too distant future...... ;)

RayTheRat

I'm so far behind, I can't even see anybody's taillights.  I'm finally thru editing and posting my photos from my trip to California ( http://www.chevyasylum.com/cruisin/cruisin2013/Welcome.html ) and I have my race car running, but it looks like I'm gonna be a very infrequent visitor here.  I may run my Camaro on the salt this year and put the race car off until next year.  I'll do my best to stay current...and at the very least check in when I can.

No; that's just not acceptable - you'll need to reflect, and reshuffle your priorities.  ;)

Any suggestions?  I bought a pressure washer yesterday.  The plan is to take the race car outta the garage outta the garage and clean it thoroughly underneath.  Then the Camaro comes into the garage for a day and a half of work before a car show on Saturday.  Then I have 10 days until the Rat Fink Reunion...and I may have to hot-foot it to Ohio (from Utah) for the Target 550 streamliner testing...unless that gets put off for a month.

Then a little more work on the Camaro and in August, it's Speed Week on the salt...which starts a 3 month thrash.

If ya wanna come out and help a bit, yer more than welcome.  I can go buy another box of Cheerios.  :)

Well, I have just been informed that my application to the University of Leicester, Museum Studies, PhD via distance learning has been approved. I will start in September. I have no idea how it affects my schedule, but I can imagine that I will spend considerably less time here - we will see

I'm a Raisin Bran man! If I could pull myself out of this rat race and work on cars and spend time with car guys, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Let's see - the Powerball is over $600 million...
