Actually, I felt very happy for the future of Autopuzzles-site creating 'The Brand-New 2025 Vehicle Identification Board'. A new attempt to bring more momentum into the puzzle process. Great, but once again I miss uniformly, simple and clear rules for everyone. Which could ensure faster and more movement.
1) ..If you have identified one of these cars please add some proof by attaching a meaningful screenshot or scan. Topics with finally identified cars should be moved to the Solved AutoPuzzles thread with the correct identification in the header..
ad 1) Who moves them to the 'Solved AutoPuzzles thread'? The poster himself, who requested answers to an him unknown car years ago and risks an look at the AutoPuzzles-site once a year??
With the proof attached, I think, they can be moved there after waiting for one or two weeks for the poster's reply by the editors. (more movement!)
What will a rookie puzzler, who took part on the new board and found a solution, think about our game, while waiting months for any reaction? Right, she/he will spend her/his time never more at this site
2) ..The AutoPuzzler who posted the unidentified car may or may not award a point for a correct identification. This board is mainly about identification and not for obtaining puzzle points..
ad 2) If this board is (mainly) about identification and not for obtaining puzzle points, why not 0 points? Do you fear, less people will then be interested to search and post a car's identification?
If this is the reason, why not each one point for every identification?
..may or may not award a point for a correct identification..: Sorry, how to understand that?? Friend to friend: 'Yes', others: 'No'? Why not clear and simple 'points' or 'no points'??
If there should be a reward in any form, please the same for everyone, or no reward for everyone!!
This criticism's intention is mainly to help rethinking the concept and rulebook of the new board again. I tried to get momentum into this board from the start of it. Whenever I take a look there, I see bleak stagnation. That is certainly not your wish, I think. Not mine too
