Profile problems

For several years I had a photo as part of my profile with no writing below it.

At some stage recently I noticed that the photo had been removed and a written message added - so far as I know, not by me.

I have been able to change the written message, but try as I might I cannot get a photograph to load, and there is no error message, not even of the unhelpful sort.

I just wanted to know WIHIH?
