Thank you Wendax! That's really a relief for me! But your solution does not easily deliver a Google picture hit. I am going to store it as "Delahaye 135 Sport Coach 1936".

Yes, that's the one. I didn't search the web for a solution, I knew which books to consult.  :)

Hi all,

thanks for your help so long. But there are some difficult things to come. Yor remember my first request (#1321) kept being unanswered. This and a couple of other pictures originate from the Flickr account of the San Diego Air and Space Museum (SDASM). The person who attends this, in my eyes, has not too much knowledge about aircraft either, the worse about cars. The pictures I talk about were taken in connenction to Timm Aircraft (then Glendale, CA). What happens is: SDASM inherits picture albums and publishes them on Flickr. Decades went since the pictures were taken. Nobody who knows anything is alive any more. So, there are pictures, and no writings to them. Even some aircraft kept on being unidentified. And now I come and demand YOU to identify cars that look like somebody created them in places close to the desert, where nobody else took notice about them.

Well, I don't want to be too pessimistic, I try my look and hope you know something anyway. See the next one.

Regards, RT

Last one unanswered? Well, I have to try my luck and go ahead asking, what else can I do? Although I expect nothing much better for #4...

Happy New Year to Everybody! Stay healthy!

It is a Ford Model T racing car. It is equipped with a Rajo cylinder head and is lowered by using under-slinging brackets.

I see. Thank you Wendax!

Now the next one hopefully is a bit easier. Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 is the nearest match, but I could not find another one showing exactly that snout. What is your attempt?

Best regards, RT

Belated Happy New Year to Everybody!

Now the next question. Here, not only the women are eye-catching. The very old car in this picture labeled "American Jubilee Performers 1939-40" is as well. Three pistons in oblique position over the front axle should be remarkable. Who can label this car?

Thanks, and regards,
RT

OK, trying further. One major source for me was the digitalization of the Dutch magazine "Het Leven". Expectably, they did not label car pictures very well, so I try to ask them here. Often they are from the Dutch Taxi scene. The brands may be British, French, German, or native Dutch as well. In the picture attached you see different Amsterdam Taxis of 1915. Please label them, if you can.

Hi all,

I was busy in the meantime but now let me continue. The Amsterdam taxis #176 and #199 are surely of the same type. They (coach-like style) look much older than the ones I posted before but are said to be from 1920. So, if you know the type, please tell me!

Thank you, and regards,
RT

I came across this one in a video about a Chinese rallye. It looks Italian to me, who knows more?
I've seen this one somewhere before, but can't place where at the moment. Seems like it may have been British-based, but I'm not sure (and LHD is giving me doubts). Let me see what I can come up with. If nothing else, I can contact someone I know who participated in the same rally and ask him what this was.
My apologies for not getting back to you on this one! The participant I knew was unable to recall any of the details about the car and then the subject slipped my mind entirely. I was looking for something else in my archive a few minutes ago and stumbled across an article about the Wagener which reminded me of your post in this thread. However, I see that the Wagener surfaced in an AP puzzle during my absence last year and so your question was answered after all.

Could someone please help me to name that car?
This picture was made in 1902 in currently south-eastern part of Poland. In 1902 it was Austro-Hungarian Empire.

I've moved this thread as Solved is not the right place for it; andyla is very welcome on site but is not entitled to post puzzles but only to ask for information via the 'What is this Car?' thread on the News, Information and Feedback board.

Hello Pal and Alessandro (or anyone else able to help),

in the newest issue of Rare & Unique Vehicles there is a picture of an Italian microcar I can't recognize. Unfortunately the picture is missing a caption. Can you help identifying this cute little car?

This is the very first Moretti Cita 350 prototype, which was completed in early 1948.
Its body was judged by Giovanni Moretti to be too heavy-looking and American for such a small car and was replaced later in 1948 with a different one by Count Revelli di Beaumont, which was shown at the Geneva Show in March of that year.
