Do you know what is this? It is captioned as "Samsung" but I'm not able to find any connection...

It's the Turkish Karsan V1 New York City taxi concept, first shown at the Geneva Salon around eight years ago.

Have official brochures of this car in my collection, if you need some additional info - let me know.

Looks like that MG Special made in New Zealand; or was it a Ford?
I'll have to see if I can find it...

I believe the pictures were taken in a bodyshop on the American east coast but I don't know if the MG special was constructed there (it appears to be only car that is complete in the pictures so perhaps not). I have a couple of more pictures of the same place should it be of interest.

Ah, I thought you were thinking of the MG T-type in the background. I can certainly see the similarities, but I suspect both cars were inspired by the Jaguar C-type and that's where the grille shape (which is the biggest similarity between the two) comes from.

Here is a closer look at the last car in the pictures. I would think it should be possible to at least identify one of these cars.

Need help ID-ing some cars!
« Reply #1087 on: August 05, 2016, 10:44:42 PM »
I was looking through some old family 35mm slides from the late 1950s/early 1960s. My Dad used to race at Virginia International Raceway, and that's where these pictures were taken. I was hoping someone would know what model cars are in them. There are several that I can't ID. They're probably easy for most car nuts.

Here's the first one (001, I'll call it)

Now that I look at them close-up, two of them are the same car (002 and 007). Also, it looks like 005 and 006 are the same model vehicle. I went back and included my guesses as to what the cars are. I have no idea about 001!

Hello and welcome to Autopuzzles Buford!
I've re-sized your photos to fit the normal display area and will post them with my comments (if I have any):
This looks like an Elva Courier to me

I'd say Austin-Healey 100-6 or 3000 mk 1

This is a Lotus 7 of some sort or one of the many clones/copies of the design!
We have people here who can be more specific I think!

As you say, both are MG MGA but again I'm not expert enough to say which sub-model.
