Maybe someone has this 'brochure' in readable format?

I've got them in Italian, but I thin you'll really enjoy this....

THAT IS INSANE!!! Thank You Paul !!! That is what I call "the real information sharing" without any problems! Thank You again!

P.S.  What are these cards / 'brochures' in that page?

It was a collection of cards, bigger than the usual card collections, with technical data of the car (not very accurate....) and a brief history of maker and model. There were also 2 or more boxes where you could organize your collection in alphabetical order or using the color-code: sport cars, race cars and so on...

Sorry, was not my intention... :-\
But probably it is like that Czech site...everibody knows it but it is so huge that if you pick a pic from there, you can not find it even knowing the source.

...and no, I won't tell that site! ;)

I'm not a fan of revealing any sources. For me it's part of the game to find them by chance or by searching!
Telling too much is a kill-joy.

BUT:
The only thing I'd like to know at the beginning of a puzzle:
Is it possible to find this particular car on the internet or is it scanned from a book?? (for scans I needn't start any search at all...!)

I don't see any problem here.. The pictures (of Morere) could have been copied an uploaded here.. But Paul Jaray decided to provide the link I respect that choice!

The Morere can be found in at least 2 other sites...I gave that link because it was exactly what Arunas was looking for...on the other hand you are really too good and every time we give a link, that site is over, so I understand Otto's point.

I understand Otto's point.

Me too, but when I ask for information, I ask for text or pictures and that DOESN'T mean I ask for links and only links.. I try to find the links myself before asking, but when I get no results then the only way is to ask Your help, guys! Please understand my postions as well  ;)

Has anyone more useful information about Lectra Centauri? http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=3894.0

Is it true that Lectra Centauri was an alectric conversion of Datsun Silvia? ???

I was thinking to something quite different....each one of us can post 1 car, just like the puzzles, and that post can be filled by anyone who has got info. When the info are enough, or when there is nothing at all, we can start a new one. At the end we'll have, like in the solved section, a list of cars but with all the info available. Putting all the requests in the same place, IMHO, will not sort the same effect.

So? Maybe I am a little bit to quick, since I have quite much questions to ask and yet found some cars at Auto Puzzles, that I do not know nothing about.. Sorry...

Too complicated. I agree with Otto (although I sometimes have given away some already well known sources when you or others were crying too loud).

I ask for text

With a tool like google, giving text is giving links.

This means no text could be shared, because of the google?

I generally don't like sharing information. I think tracking it down is part of the game. When one source after the other is revealed, the fun starts to go away.

In the event that I've been sharing text, I've tried my best to re-write it so it can't be traced to the source. That's one way to get around Google.

From now on, a lot more of my puzzles will come from books (I've purchased quite a few recently). The good thing about that is that the game turns more towards recognising details that can lead you in the direction of this or that designer, this or that country, this or that time period, instead of just being a game of who is best at googling (although I must admit that I've been using Google a lot in order to solve the puzzles contained within this site). Now that I've been promoted to Pro, I won't be able to solve as many puzzles as before, so I'll focus instead on posting some (hopefully) increasingly difficult ones myself.

That is the nonsense, because I don't think that the only aim of the AutoPuzzles.com website is just to pust & answer the puzzles.. I think this website also must be an archive of the very different cars (ultra rare, unknown, unseen, etc..), so I naturally suppose that after answering the puzzle, the information available about that car (not neccessarily the links) should be added to the topic not just leaving it solved. I would like to say that the fun of solving puzzling must be preserved, while also keeping the website not only a forum, but also the library for other users and other visitors, that would really like to know more facts about particular automobile, because not everybody has such knowledge and sources.. I am deeply sure that the sharing of information could and should increase the quality of the whole website!

I would agree that after a puzzle is solved it would be appropriate to share info about a vehicle.  It is important, however, to encourage care so that when such info is revealed, puzzle sources don't get revealed as well.

I agree with both of you... we can provide also some more info together with the puzzles, but thi is AUTOPUZZLES, so I will not spoil the fun givin links where other puzzles can be found but, if there is an home-made car in a self-made site, there will be no problem to give that link or to change te text to keep it "ungoogable".

That is what I am talking about! While giving information, the accuracy of the text must me also preserved, BUT there's no need to add the link that contains many other manufacturers. While adding information You must post info about particular automobile and not the whole Wikipedia! :D Personaly I really wouldn't like to unveil some great sources as well  ;D so I perfectly understand  both Ultra and Otto  ;)

Of course the text must be accurate. What would be the point in giving away info if it's not correct?

I don't understand what you're calling nonsense.
