Who can identify this car?
I think it was asked elsewhere too. It is, from what I understand, an old VW with a Porsche-style kitcar body, apparently Dutch-made.

This picture was taken in postwar Germany. I have trouble identifying this car. Does anyone have an idea? Maybe it's simple, but I'm stuck.

This car is identified in various web sites, as a 1942 Breguet A2 Electrique.  If you do a Google Search By Image, it claims this vehicle is a nuclear bomb.

Any idea what it really is?

It's a prototype of the 10 CV Peugeot 502 of 1939.

There was an italian 3-wheeler, body paint in two tones, quite aerodinamic shape (like a Fiat 1500) from the 30s.
It was a sort of commercial vehicle (closed bodywork and no side windows). The name should be F.B. but I can't find it back.
I don't know if it's been solved already or is one of the sleeping puzzles I can't see no-more.
Is there anyone who can find it back?

Can anyone tell me more about this car ? I had it as a puzzle a while ago and it is still intriguing me. According to my source it is a Bugatti taken during a Swiss hill climb event in 1949. It doesn't really look like a Bugatti, but of course you never know. I believe it is coach built looking at the quality of the body work. Any ideas ?

In my records I've a Bugatti bodied by Pattaro & Pesce from Mirano (Varese, very close to Switzerland) and shown at the Lido di Venezia concourse d'elegance in 1950. Could be this car? Does anybody know more?

I am working on a photo spread of "railcars" that I will post here and I have one image I cannot positively identify.

This vehicle was used on the Danish National Railway postwar and the historic website I got it from cannot identify it either.

The grille has very strong BMW heritage outlines (the kidneys) but I think it is either a British vehicle or perhaps a "custom" vehicle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The front of the railcar seems to be a Ford Anglia.  I haven't seen many images of a 4-door version though.

Hi Cuda:

I think you nailed the basic vehicle.  The grille is a perfect match including the match up to the hood.  The fenders work as do the headlamp mountings

What threw me off are the hood louvers and the windscreen.  But of course, the whole body is coach built so perhaps the rest of it is as well.

Silly me, I was chasing Standards, Hillmans, Morris and all sorts of other sort of 8 HP British vehicles and never even thought of Ford.  Thanks...........

Unfortunately not. However, Auto Italiana records it as a "coupe". so I'm not so confident that Pattaro & Pesce's  Bugatti can actually be the one in your picture, but it's strange to have two newly coacbuilt Bugattis close to Switzerland in the same moment... I hope some Bugatti expert can help us.

And that's the problem. I've sent a photo of the mystery car to the Bugatti Trust Archives, and they don't know anything about it. They have very complete records of all chassis made, and what happened to them, and they still cannot help to identify it. It makes me wonder whether it's actually a Bugatti, or whether it has been incorrectly captioned on the photograph.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Did you ask the Swiss Car Register? They are a very helpful bunch (unlike the Bugatti Trust which was a complete a** to me)

Sorry, images were too big and I don't know how to edit just images.

Can anyone ID this micro car?  It was captured/impressed by the Germans in what seems to be a non combat area judging by the lack of military registration, headlamp mods etc.  It is from one of the military history sites where I do a lot of ID work on mostly ex civilian vehicles for photo collectors.
I think it it British judging from the style of tyres and wheels but a lot of time spent on micro car sites led nowhere.

Does anyone know which is the engine on this truck?
It's a Moretti Elettrocarro converted in combustion engine in - I think - 1946.

Thanks!
