I tried several times to upload those pics in that reply and once I did it I got the text wrong!
I found some pics in Bellù's book and those Panhards remind me of the mistery car...I took a look at some Simca too but so far no matches.

What does it mean? Is there anyone who can translate it better than me & Google?

Riederberg is a racetrack near Vienna, fesch is an Austrian word for attractive, Kiebitz is a bird (Northern lapwing in English, pavoncella in Italian), Rennen means race. So literally it is an attractive Riederberg race bird, probably a nice looking small racing car.

I guess that 'Kiebitz' translation Wendax provided could also mean something different. The verb "kiebitzen" means something like "to peep" or "to peek". So, he (the driver) is maybe only a spectator of that race. (jokingly meant)

Hello I am trying to identify a car I don't have a picture but I know I saw it on jay leno's garage I am pretty sure he was at pebble beach or some other show or gathering. It was a old fashioned type roadster open wheel. I don't think it was la bestioni because it wasn't a video by itself the video had other cars as well it was custom it wasn't the magnolia special either if I saw a picture I would recognize it. I know it's not a lot to go on but since they redid jay leno's website I can't find the video anymore. I am leaving more towards that the car was at pebble beach or Laguna seca
But I am not 100%. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can anyone help out with this? Picture was taken in Russia earlier this year by a family member of mine. Being the car guy in the family, he asked me what it was, but I couldn't figure it out. A friend of mine and I have gone through all the usual suspects, the GaZ M1, DKWs, 40s Citroen, etc, but nothing matches. Any clues?

Thanks

It looks like a Hanomag Kurier, probably left in Russia at the end of WW2 and modified over the years to keep it running. Engine and axles are probably of Russian origin now, Moskvich or similar.

Aha! Thats really close! Never heard of Hanomag before, but defiantly on the right track. The hood vents seem off though, so a bit of Googleing suggests that its the Hanomag Rekord.

For sure, I didn't notice the louvers. Besides the different bonnet for a larger engine, Kurier and Rekord used the same pressed steel body, the Ambi-Budd Jupiter.

Or does anybody know what it is?

Hi All,

I am trying to locate a puzzle which featured a small yellow taxi-like hatchback.

If I remember correctly it was a rear end shown in the puzzle photo. I don't know whose puzzle it is/was, perhaps Quiller's but I cannot find it anywhere.

Any ideas? Is it in SOLVED section already?

EDIT: A photo I have found (not puzzle picture) is attached. Does anyone remember such puzzle?
