Thank you, it was my 1st thought too, but it's not that.

The 2 cars are from 2 different countries and Varela was quite known for the writer of the article where I found the mistery car...

I found a web page which refers to the mystery car as "Dauphine-Alfa Romeo". And they refer back to an Italian magazine. I have found both a magazine scan with "Dauphine-Alfa Romeo" under an image of the mystery car, as well as an some text in Italian describing the car.

The cards are the same as the F.X.Schmid Traumwagen quartet, only the cover card is unique. But this card game is very rare.

Please help me identifying the cars on these pictures.
One of them is a prewar car, a bit fuzzy

The other one is post 1945 and features a Mercedes and a strange VW Beetle. It is not a Kohlruss Volkswagen.

The prewar car is a Praga Baby, see below.

The VW is obviously a privately rebodied Kübelwagen, made to look like a Beetle. You can see some more Kübelwagen in the background.

Thanks for the assistance. Yes, the guy who ran this shop started his activities in 1945 by repairing old Kübelwagens. Interesting remark about the rebody - I think the family made a mistake here. They claim the attached was the Kübelwagen turned into VW Beetle. However this looks like a stock Beetle to me
