Design an Ad for AutoPuzzles
« on: August 30, 2011, 04:39:27 AM »
If anyone here would like to design some ads for AutoPuzzles we sure could use some.  The best designs will go into rotation as ads that show up on this site and possibly be used to advertise this site on other sites as well.

We need banners in the following sizes:

120x600 SkyScraper

468x60 Banner

728x90 Leaderboard

Sure would love to see what some you design guys come up with.  I personally want to see traditional as well as creative, modern interpretations of the AutoPuzzles chevron on all of our ads.

Anyone have any ideas or designs, please post them in this thread.

Personally I like it a lot.
My only thought is that the 'AutoPuzzles.com' typeface could be stronger/brought up-to-date.
I would help but I'm still undergoing hospital treatment at the moment and it's difficult to concentrate.

Great.  I want one like in my sig, revolving around the RookieThumb, but way cooler than anything I could design, saying Name that Car.

Also need text ads.

Character limit? I assume you mean Google Adwords sized text ads.

Burma Shave is a GREAT idea. I've been a fan since since I saw a few examples in a book.
Here is a place where you can find the complete jingles for inspiration.

But I'd better let a english speaking poet like Otto try his luck at it.

Ten or more years ago, I travelled on some remnants of the 66 (Arizona and New Mexico), but didn't notice them. Too bad.

I don't know the character limit. Will look into it in the next day or so.

Sorry I didn't catch your question sooner.
