Google Ads
« on: February 02, 2009, 11:33:17 PM »
Bandwidth, like everything else, isn't getting any cheaper.  I apologize if anyone is offended but it is time for me to try and get this site paying for itself.  I sign an agreement with Google that I cannot click on the ads.  Therefore I am asking everyone who uses this site to be willing to use those new ads as jumping off points and to please click them and support AutoPuzzles.

Thanks everyone.

Your Publisher,

Ultra

Also, please, use the Google search bar at the bottom of the page.  It should come in handy for searching regarding puzzles and will be all the contribution to the site I could ever ask for if you only find yourself following some of the ads.

Is it enough to click on those links and get back to AP? Piece of cake!

Exactly.  If you use the search bar the AP car logo links you right back to the site.

The way the ads appear now is as I intend for them to appear on the site for the foreseeable future.

Any thoughts?

I was going to suggest one on each end - looks good.

I prefer like now, at the two sides of the logo, but not above, the page became too long to scroll down with 2 or 3 links in column.
(ok not soo long but, you know, just a bit and then ...hey YOU asked for a suggestion!)

I am a long-time user of Google AdSense on my own pages. Please, everyone must click only on ads they want to look at and are genuinely interested in. Also, encouraging your users to click on your ads is against the TOS :( please be careful how you phrase things!

I wish you the best of luck, I really like this site, it has taken up a lot of my time since I found it! If you want to chat about my experiences with AdSense, I'm happy to respond to PMs and the like. I have been with them for a couple of years now.
