If it's any help, the race was the Cape Grand Prix.  Still locked for D-type.

Is it one of Noel Pratt, Ray Lock, Harry Sutcliffe, Harry Pierce, or Gordon Phillips?
And please unlock as I'm basically guessing.

Mass questons are not allowed, but Gordon Phillips is correct.  All I know is the puzzle image shows him winning the Cape GP in 1956.

Perseverance wins the day.

Thanks for the totally undeserved point.
It wasn't really a mass question, I was expecting a "No" to eliminate a load of random guesses.
Is it just me, or have they changed the way Google works?  Looking for, say, "Cape Grand Prix""MG Special" leads to almost random answers ranging from Stirling Moss through MGs at Bonneville, to BMWs whereas the answers used to be far more targeted.

Search engines are never good enough. The one for TNF is awful. This car doesn't show anywhere on Google Images but I knew your specific knowledge would win the day. Nobody else would have got it.
