Let's try another:
AH: DC Design Taarzan - 5: Floors Castle (featured as Grestoke Mansion' in the film Greystoke, the Legend of Tarzan - s: Al Araba 1/DC Gaia (joint venture between Al Araba and DC Design)
Yes, that one was a bit harder I thought.  :)

Trying another tenuous connection, Chairman to Chairman;

Rust Q: Rover Metro-based Gowrings Chairman, with a rear ramp tailgate for wheelchair access
Arch 9: Roman military barracks remains, discovered whilst expanding the C-Line of the Rome Metro ‘metropolitana’
Extra Ab: Ssangyong Chairman, based around an old Mercedes-Benz E Class
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Even more tenuous this time, a star connection?;

Rust F: a Star Nestor 18/50 from the late 1920s
Arch 24: the Museo Nestor museum in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Extra u: a Ford Vedette (vedette meaning ‘star’ in French) this version being the base Abeille model with a split opening tailgate and removable rear seats
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Rust Q and Extra ab are well identified and belong together. The architecture in question is another one, only connected to one of the cars.
Architecture 9 is well identified.
Q - ?? - ab locked for you.

Rust F and Architecture 24 are correct and belong to each other, but they are looking for another Extra (hint: again only connected to one of these two).
F - 24 - ?? locked for you.

Extra u is a Ford Abeille and your answer contains an idea you should keep in mind.

The first step in this one may be weak, but here goes:

O: Citroën Heuliez – 21: Vanna Venturi House, Philadelphia – h: Venturi/Claude Poiraud (formerly of Heuliez)

Your feeling was right, Rust O is neither a Citroen by Heuliez, nor connected to the other two.
Architecture 21 and Extra h do pair and are recognized correctly.
?? - 21 - h locked for you.

That's the right triple, Donar being the old Germanic name of Thor.

If this one's correct, I think you missed an opportunity to include the Reliant Fox Goldcrest :)

H: 1984 Ford Escort Wagon (North America) - 19: Goldcrest Views 2 in Dubai, UAE - j: Ford Escort Mk2 Goldcrest

Rust C is not a Sphinx.
Architecture 4 is correctly identified.
Extra x is not the Blake & Mortimer Citroen DS 19.

Rust H has already been identified as a Mitsubishi Sigma.
The two other parts are correct and connect. ?? - 19 - j locked for you

This one is no longer identified as "Locked" in the Correct Answers post (Reply #9). Is it still locked?

I noticed that Wendax hadn’t Locked this one when all the other 2-answer puzzles had been locked, so I assume this was an oversight as it seems a little unfair otherwise ;)

Ah, thank you Wendax. I’ve taken a day’s break from this puzzle today as the research was eating into my time too much when I should have been doing some work, but I’ll revisit it again over the weekend. Thanks again.

A basic 'everyday' connection for this one:

Rust AC: Simca Aronde Quotidienne, the 'low-cost' entry-level version of the popular French model, added to the range in 1953
Arch 6: Musee d'Histoire de la Vie Quotidienne (the Museum of Daily Life), based at Petit-Caux in Normandy. I visited this charming town many years ago (before the digital camera age, so it was quite some time back) when I briefly owned a Panhard 24 CT and joined up with a French P&L Club for a local treasure hunt. Somewhere I have an old printed photo of my Panhard parked there, but it will take some finding!
Next U: the French Ford Abeille, a stripped down basic version of the Vedette, aimed at farmers, commercial tradesmen, etc, and built in the same Poissy factory as the Aronde which Simca acquired when it took over the French Ford SAF operations and production plant. The Poissy plant still exists today as part of the PSA Groupe, now building Citroen C3s, etc.

V: Rosengart Ariette Break – 15: The Rosengart Collection, Lucerne Switzerland – e: 1941 Tempo Hanseat A 400

V/15 connection: Rosengart (obvious)
V/e connection: Among other things, the French word 'ariette' can be a diminutive form of the musical term 'aria', while 'tempo' can also be a musical term.
15/e connection: None
