Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2299 in Modena at Carrozzeria GranSport, 1964. The first Pete Brock styled Cobra Daytona Coupe was built in the US, the other five bodies in Modena at GranSport, with slightly altered front and roofline

Carrozzeria 'GranSport', sometimes known an written 'GrandSport', was operated by Alberto Gasparini and Pietro Vaccari. The contact between Caroll Shelby and 'Gransport' happened on behalf of Alejandro De Tomaso.

I only want to state, that the picture is not from 1965, but for sure from 1964, before the Le Mans race in June 1964, showing CSX2299, the first Modena-built Cobra Daytona Coupe.
Together with the first ever (Shelby-American-) built Daytona Coupe (CSX2287), CSX2299 went to Le Mans 1964 (see attached picture on the Italian-French border).
CSX2286 followed ready for Goodwood 1964, and had the same altered roofline as CSX2299, which makes these two 1964 Daytona-Coupes distinctive.
The three other Daytona Coupes (CSX2601, CSX2602 and CSX2300) were built in the off-race-season and completed by February 1965, for the Daytona-race.
