This children's car was not built by Hans Glas, but by his chief engineer Karl Dompert. It was built for Hans Glas' grandchildren, the two sons of Andreas Glas.
It had a 125 cc Ilo engine, and it was definitely not based on a Goggomobil, because this car was built in 1953, well before the first Goggomobil.

Thanks for that; I wish I'd known that before, but such full information was not on the Glas site I took the picture from.
I'll change the title, but should fromwien keep his point since his info (like mine...) was not entirely accurate?
