I don't remember this car from any previous post - must have been before I started following AutoPuzzles.
I believe this is one of the few (only one or two) Hotchkiss-bodied Jeep chassis produced by SOFIA (Société Financičre Industrie et Automobile - a Hotchkiss subsidiary) in France after the war. I think 1947 was the year. Nothing much came of it. There is a nice little auto museum in Tampa Bay that has a Hotchkiss-Gregoire and some of the staff are quite well-versed in Hotchkiss history, among other unusual cars not typically seen here in the United States. Well worth a visit if you're ever in Florida.
