Actually it was based on a 127, presented at the 1976 Geneve Salon.

I only Searched on 'Boniolo' and 'Covini', neither of which names were mentioned in the heading of the previous puzzle, so that explains the repost..
They will be merged.

this is a Meta , by Boniolo Design company, from Italy , in 1976.l guess it's actually made into real ,probably just a mock-up ?

as for the base , l think it's based on a Fiat 1600 series or a Fiat 127.

Yes, perfect found! It is the Francesco Boniolo designed Fiat 127 Meta, shown at the Geneva Show in 1976

That's because you included 'Fiat 127' in your search, but that was not part of the title of the original puzzle so it wouldn't come up.
If you had just asked for 'Meta' it would have come up.
You need to ask for the absolute minimum number of words, so choose one which only appertains to that particular car if possible!
