"its manufacturer .... Daniel JUPILLE ... a pure amateur, mechanic by trade ... The car was built between 1969 and 1971 ... Base Dauphine (3 speeds) of course but completely cut to make a coupe 2 doors ... helped by a sheet metal worker friend, they made plans, drawings inspired by ... Alpine A106 / A108 and old Porsche 356 ... It was built in St Marcel (71) .. . he told me "to have hit with mallets" to form this beautiful car .... Dauphine flag lowered, windshield of the same car, rear window borrowed from a 203, front fenders from a ... DS, front lights of .... bus (he worked in buses!), Opel dashboard, front seats of an English car and small homemade rear seat ... it was initially yellow. .. Its engine has also evolved over time, cylinder head with larger valves, replacement of the 3 gearbox by a 4 speed and even installation of front disc brakes from Dauphine Export .... Finally, it had to be approved.(we were living through a hell of a time ...); they got help from a Renault dealer friend in Paris and got a registration card .... all that remained was to insure it .... no insurer wanted this prototype ... Daniel Jupille finally found an insurer but this sporty Dauphine surely impressed him and he then made him pay the price of the insurance of a Porsche ..... He drove with it for 1 year and then sold it .... its new owner near Dole was will fly it, find it but the engine box assembly was missing .... it will mount another mechanism but will destroy it in a road accident .... Daniel Jupille will find it in a junkyard a little later, rather banged up and already partly crushed ... unrecoverable! This man today is passionate about old motorcycles and continues to invent and imagine improbable machines! ”  according Olivier Deville
