Surprisingly, this is not the result of self-tuning, but an experimental factory development. According to the owner, this minibus was prepared by the car factory in the early 2000s specifically for the markets of Iran and Iraq.
Pay attention: the minibus received not only a new design of the front part, but also an original body, more spacious than that of the classic "loaves". The side and rear windows on the car are glued in. But technically nothing original: the experimental UAZ is equipped with a 2.9-liter UMZ gasoline engine with a capacity of 100 hp, a manual transmission and a plug-in all-wheel drive.
This prototype was being prepared for display at some exhibition in the Middle East, but, probably, the contract fell through and the car remained at the factory. Surprisingly, despite the lack of development in the project, the unique car was preserved. From 2006 to 2014, the minibus worked in the commercial directorate of UAZ as an in-house transport, then it got to the current owner, who is closely connected with the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The car is located in one of the villages of the Ulyanovsk region, although the owner lives in Togliatti.
