The Technology and Innovation Expo Techno 2017 organised by the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. at Eagles Square in Abuja.

Ahmed Aliyu to the kick off ceremonywith his wooden car the Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu rode it to the venue of the occasion at Eagles Square in Abuja.

Aliyu who named the car “Amara” said that he drove it from Bida, Niger to Abuja (about 250km and used about 23 litres of fuel.

The manufacturer Aliyu said apart from the engine, wheels and tyres, the materials used in making the open-roofed car were locally sourced,why the engine of the car is motorcycle engine.
