It is a VP with  modified  bodyshell in 1958 ( because it is not aerodynamic enough)  , placed on a Renault chassis and a dkw engine

Sorry to interfere, but there are very big differences  in terms of the bodywork between the red and the silver vehicle. Is it really sure that both pictures show the same vehicle?

I don't know whether it is the same vehicle and even if so, there are enough differences to keep the two puzzles separate. I just wanted to place the connection to an existant puzzle.

Understand completely and agree to keep the two puzzles separated.
But the 'SACO'-puzzle uses the former puzzle car as a proof for the red one. And I have a little bit doubt, that these pictures show the same car. Too many differences: front bodywork, front bonnet, windshield, sill height, rear air intakes, and, and,... very interesting at all
