I try to help but it is difficult because I could easily give away the solution
So it has been said that this is British, electric, made during WW2 and it is for "delivery".

Just to give you an idea and hopefully it will not mislead you: during WW1 the Fordson tractor was devised to make farming easier for women. Come WW2, what would be the reason to come up with an electric delivery vehicle? It is not useful as a military truck because recharging is difficult. So then, why?

Electric vehicles became popular in several countries during WW2 because fuel supply was minimal for civilians, but I don't think it was the case in UK.

Electric vehicles are silent, easy to drive and are emission-free. Was this vehicle built by an environmentalist organisation ?

To supply the population Gasoline-vehicles were replaced by electric-vehicles due to fuel shortage. They are easier to operate by non-professionals.

Okay, trade is a misleading thing here. So actually no, not a trade union. But still locked for two more attempts :)
