I haven't been able to find it online, but it does form part of Kia's series of concept car names, so it's probably out there somewhere; maybe on a Korean site in the Korean language!

There was a KMX-90 in 1984, so maybe a KMX-92 in 1986 ?

All except the 'D' is right; the middle letter stands for a word.
'21' refers to the 21st century.

This was written about it at the time in the 1987 publication I got it from:

"Thinking that the need for multi-functional, multi-purpose vehicles would increase because of the country's growing economy and driver population, the designer has proposed a 3-door sedan with large sliding doors."

Neither KAV-21 nor KFV-21 is right.
Try to think of the word that might refer to a car for the 21st century from the point of view of 1986.
