Am I right, that only, '3) the company responsible for the commercial body component' is missing? Is the tipper bodywork the 'commercial body component', you are looking for?

No, I wouldn't have asked for them separately if that was the case. If it helps, the image is from an article about the company that manufactured the wooden tipper body.

Still LOCKED for you.

EDBRO?
EDBRO is just the trade name for the Bromilow & Edwards system. This is a separate company altogether--an actual coachbuilder (of trucks, buses, cars) that happened to also build these wooden tipper bodies.

Thank you very much for explanation, and please excuse my stubbornness, as I ever thought the tipper-bodywork came from a 'Bromilow & Edwards' associated company
Is it Barker and Co. (Coachbuilders), Ltd.?

Mulliners?
No. If you figure it out, you won't even have to ask. The source is readily available on the internet and shows up as the first result in a Google search for the coachbuilder's name along with another term from this thread. Still LOCKED for you for 24 hours or one more attempt.

Thank you so much for the good hints, which, I think, direct nearly everyone to the right solution. I am a very clumsy and non-creative internet user. I hope I can overcome myself to learn how to do better.
To find the (hopefully right) solution for this puzzle, I took a look in a small booklet in my library
