It's not the country where the car was built, to has a close relationship with Austria, but something else that is being asked for..
The phrasing here is a tad awkward. So to clarify for everyone, you're saying that one of these four things is closely related to Austria, correct?
  • Make
  • Type
  • Race category
  • Year
If so, is the race category closely related to Austria?

OK. I established it was that formula because of the Puch connection. I have found very little information about the formula apart from the Italian Prinoth , so this may take some time..........

I didn't read all the posts! You said it was not Austrian, so is it an Italian car fitted with a Puch engine?

PS all the internet gives me is baby food!

This is confusing. I thought there was an Austrian connection. I shall have to investigate further. Thank you for the extra attempt.

Austrian connection:
There were national Italian and (later) national Austrian 'Formula Baby Junior' regulations
Both national regulations specify that the 500cc engines must be Fiat, Autobianchi or Steyr-Puch

Thank you for all your help and hints. I hadn't heard of this formula until I joined AP, and information is difficult to find on the internet. It's not something covered by UK books and magazines.

I think it is best if you unlock the puzzle - I think it will be solved very quickly now.

I know, informations about this formula are very scarce to find, ideal for an article in 'Rare and Unique Vehicles'-magazine?  ;)

OK, this puzzle is OPEN for all again

As you have guessed, I've found a few Italian makes which built Baby Junior as well as Formula 850.

Fagioli ?
