Kaelble?
It was identified as 1953 Kaelble Thermoswagen
I've found the puzzle picture among other in a truck forum. They said:
"The photo shows a truck with box body from the Bremen forwarding company Joh. Bischoff. At first I thought I could see the Kaelble emblem on the radiator grille, but on closer inspection I noticed that it was a Bischoff lettering. However, the similarity of the two lettering is striking, could it therefore possibly be a Kaelble?
By the way, the photo was taken on 03.06.1958 on the Himmelsleiter in the Rhön"

Then someone answered:
"Yes, you are absolutely right, it is a three-axle Kaelble Thermoswagen, probably KD 631, from the beginning of the fifties, until 1953 with 150 hp engine and then with 180 hp engine. This magnificent truck had a heavy 24t. three-axle trailer in tow. For better illustration despite poor quality, two pictures from my archive of this unique vehicle."

Well found pictures and discussion about this truck at a well-known web-site. But sorry, due to my proof, it has nothing to do with Kälble!
You are on a good way to solve this puzzle, as you correctly answered, who made the complete bodywork of the "Thermoswagen".
Who built the chassis (easy for you,..) and which engine has been used?

A little more help:
It is not from 1953, and the engine power has been correctly mentioned within your last message

Chassis: I don't want you to run in a wrong direction. Don't try out, to ask for all the possible manufacturers
Year: Earlier
Engine:?

Well, I'm lost because the only source that I can find is that truck forum. They said that the based was a Mack Truck due the front wheels, and the engine was a Kaelble. So, I can't tell otherwise because I don't know nothing about this truck. The year must be 1955. Please unlock

I feel extremely unhappy unlocking now, as you are so near the solution. It may be, that the wheels are 'Mack'. May be the axles too..
Earlier than 1955
Please try one more guess, without asking and searching in forums. Only following my hints

Thermos-wagen by Joh. Bischoff 1954. About the engine, I can only guess, without knowledge.
I read that Bischoff has an engine of his own, could it be the one?

Now I have to summarize:

It is a "Bischoff Thermoswagen" built for 'Johann Bischoff Kraftverkehr'-company. You answered that correctly.
What we are still in need:
The year, when the truck was already on the road: Earlier than 1953, 1955 and 1956
The bodywork has been built by Bischoff. But not by Johann Bischoff
Which chassis has been used? I gave you the hint, not to ask for all the usual manufacturers..
Last: The engine came from one of the usual manufacturers.. not from Bischoff..

I think, now everything should sound clearly

First, thank you for trying to help me to solve this puzzle. I don't really know much about trucks. I've casually found the pictures with wrong info. So, All I can do is guessing with no base to do it.
Chassis: Not usual manufacturer: Borgward?
Engine: Usual manufacturer: Hanomag?
Year: Before the 50s, maybe 1949?
Sorry, I can't do better, just shooting in the dark.  :-\

Dear 'Oguerrerob', I hope you don't get worried about, if I open the puzzle for all again, as we are playing here in the "Master-section"..
Chassis: Not usual manufacturer: Borgward? No!  Please think very easy. The name of the chassis-maker starts with B.. !!!
Engine: Usual manufacturer: Hanomag? No
Year: Before the 50s, maybe 1949? Later

I'm afraid, my hints to find the builder and creator of the chassis caused a lot of misunderstandings and confusion, and currently I don't know how to easily correct this.
I stated: No usual manufacturer! And the name starts with "B..". I had to ask for the chassis-maker, as Kälble is wrong. And we had only correcty answered, the builder of he bodywork.. also starting with "B.."

Chassis bespoke by Bischoff?
1952? Nearby: It is 1951
Engine Mercedes Benz? No
Chassis bespoke by Bischoff? YES! You have it
Not 1952, but 1951
Now I will give you the point! Congratulation!
The engine came from Deutz
