No, I'm afraid it's not a Ford. I know the Ford 'Brakevan' you are referring to very well and have driven it a few times at Goodwood, as it now belongs to Freddie Richmond's grandson; the Duke of Richmond and Gordon.

This is the station wagon Noddy had built after he got married and had 4 children (I know, I was as amazed as you ). It was constructed on the original Noddy car chassis by Tyndall, Wienk, Brooks and Lee Coachbuilders, formerly Tyndall, Wienk, Brooks and Lee, Book Illustrators. Noddy's purchase of the station wagon spelt the end of his outlaw speeding days and Mr Plod the policeman was retrenched because he no longer brought in any fines.
