Who is he today?
« on: August 27, 2008, 09:26:27 AM »
Some weeks ago, I've started a topic for moviegoing autopuzzlers, inviting them to identify a film from the pictures I chosed for my profile. While I'll be happy to have some answers and find other film lovers among us, I've found a much more interesting subject;

Find who is Karn Utz / Otto Puzzell now from the pictures ans texts he chooses for HIS profile, and God does he change often!

You probably remember Roy D. Chapin and George Bacon, as seen below...
I've found the last one (date 27 August 2008), but you too will be able to play soon as he sure will get another rather quick.

So, who is this scientist (that's what he seems to be I'd say)? I've seen this face somewhere.
Last incarnation was easy, as the name was written in the image: Corky Curtiss, the hero of a movie I didn't know but could have included in those of my "On the road movies" puzzle. Curtiss' part was played by Robert Blake, an actor I've always followed because of his impersonation of Perry in 'In Cold Blood'. But I just discovered today that he was the frightening 'Mystery Man' in 'Lost Highway'. I had never recognized him there.
Some people never left the 'Lost Highway'.

He's an engineer, holding an example of the deceptivily simple device he invented, and that made him rich.

Is he an inventor of electronical devices like ABS or ESP? The sketch on the blackboard in the background seems to be something related to car-safety. (?) Also a wiper is clearly to identify...

It's Robert Kearns. And it's not a blackboard in the background!

That was for Ray B.
He wrote: "I've seen that face,... I've seen that face...", that's why He reminds Bernie Ecclestone! (to me at least)

Oh, I can see clearly now...
Great story.
I searched for the guy who invented Rain-X. I wasn't that far.

No, but that's a good guess.

Whele you're working on solving this one, here's Dionne Warwick singing one of her biggest hits.

I love this song (quite all of Bacharach/Warwick tunes)

Any way, something related to high-technology?

I know for seeing it in your last post in I don't remember which topic anymore. Thinking I would have found it otherwise is giving me too much credit.
