What do I have to do?
« on: October 02, 2008, 12:48:01 AM »
To get you guys to use the non-puzzle section of the forum more often, what do I have to do?  Is there anything I can say or offer to encourage you guys to tell us about yourself, your cars, your dream cars, anything?

Bueller?

Well I'll tell you, from the beginning I found this site absolutely great because it had lot of info about the cars that I love the most, but then I started to look around and tho join the comunity in those topics where I can understand the non-slang language and where the subject is not strictly American. In addiction to that, now that the pro puzzles are a limited number I have more time for that...when I'll back I will post more non-puzzle topic and I will take the time to explore the other sections of this extraordinary site.

(...) in those topics where I can understand the non-slang language and where the subject is not strictly American (...)

Exactly that's the main reason for me to stay absent, cos I'm not able to comment on those topics at all.

I find this interesting and something I had never considered. I'm probably one of the worst offenders in this area, at least when it comes to slang. I've never really been part of a truly multi-national forum before but I understand how it could be a problem for a lot of people.

Of course, I haven't contributed much lately so obviously I'm not the primary problem. Still, this is something I will consider on all my future posts.
