how cold is colder than hell? It was -27C (~ -13F or so I think) here yesterday. Wind made it rather cool. Warmed up to -17C today.

Strange thing is that when I was growing up in NoDak, this weather was pretty much the norm and we didn't think much of it at all.  I truly do remember my sister and I walking to school in the middle of what here in Idaho we'd call blizzard conditions and seeing it as a matter-of-fact.  I also remember when I lived in LA that a rain shower would practically paralyze the city and in Mesa, where my folks winter, a brief thunderstom does about the same.....

A couple of years ago, we got 37 inches of snowo overnight in Rogers City.  It is the record snowfall there.

My pizzeria opened right on time.

Should I use RainX when I encounter snowo?

I've lived here most of my life and the climate here is much warmer than 20 years ago. Global warming is working at least here.

I once delivered pizzas in a 70 below windchill.  Had to wear insulated undies AND longjohns.  we kept our cars running constantly, and it was so cold that the cruise control didn't work.  January 1984 was one of the coldest on record in Indiana.  So far this year, we haven't even had an inch of snow, yet...

Roads are glazed over here tonight, snow predicted.  With winter's repose about to be over, I hope mild is theme over the next couple of months.

I'm ready for summer. Girls in short shorts, driving with the top down, girls in short shorts, Brickyard 400, girls in short shorts...

Does short shorts seem sexier if I hyphenate it?  Short shorts, or short-shorts?
