That level of compulsivity followed by such expressions of angst are obvious symptoms pointing to the need for psychological intervention.  I suggest you call my secretary as soon as you can afford to.

Had to take my 9 month-old car into the stealership for a stalling issue today. This week it developed a nasty tendency to not respond to the electronic throttle at inopportune times... it damn near caused a crash the other night. Nothing like letting off the clutch and feeding it some gas, only to be greeted by a whole lot of nothing. I re-crank it and everything will be normal for a while, until it decides to suddenly do it again. Embarrassing at the least, and downright dangerous at the worst. It happened when the tech was pulling it into the service bay -- if they still come back with the usual "unable to duplicate the problem" response, I don't think I can be held accountable for my actions. With a cross-country drive looming in the near future, I really don't want to be dealing with a phantom electrical gremlin.

Somebody explain to me why drive-by-wire is superior to a throttle cable again?

Increases profits for auto companies, subsidiaries, suppliers and related service providers through end-user expenditures for maintenance and replacement costs.  ;)

If I can be of any further assitance, just ask.  ;D

Well, at least it's not costing me a dime... unless they decide to void the warranty because of the aftermarket audio system.

Your experience of pleasure at others' misfortunes points out significant repressed anger toward society at large, representing concerns regarding your control of your environment and those within it.  I suggest an expensive and prolonged course of psychotherapy.

And here I was thinkin' that it was nothing but good ol' Schadenfreude. Wouldn't an offsetting sense of mudifa yield a balanced world-view?

I guess, from the eyes of a professional, that would be a resounding "Aw hell no!"

Well, it depends on whether or not the Audi is in the shop.

Bob Seger, "Detroit audiences are the greatest rock and roll audiences in the world."

According to the Detroit newspapers, last night during Turn the Page, the entire crowd sang every single word so loud, Bob could hardly be heard.

Just seeing or hearing also?

We'll see. O0
