I said heal thyself, not make the rest of us ill. The net effect may seem the same, but I assure you it ain't.

He is too busy healing himself to post.  Let's hope it works.

Healing or posting?

My suspicion:  the latter.

I'd like to, but I'm afraid I'd fall back in love with Lilith....say what you will, Bebe Neuwirth was/is very easy on the eyes.....

Yeah, but I'd be satisfied with Jane Leeves or Peri Gilpin...Laura Linney is pretty hot, too...come to think of it, so is Wendie Malick...bald guys get the hot babes, I guess...

In the day, Rebbecca was quite the cutie. Even as a Vulcan, she was easy on the eyes.

Wit : One's wits are one's intellectual powers of all types. Native wit — meaning the wits with which one is born — is closely synonymous with common sense. To live by one's wits is to be an opportunist, not always of the scrupulous kind. To have one's wits about one is to be alert and capable of quick reasoning.

losing one's wit and running out of witty things to saw are different though.

just signed up for the office christmas party - man those things stink but they are "voluntary" and the wife likes them for some reason.

For the first year in a long while we're not having one at all for my (remaining) staff.  For years, I spent literally thousands of dollars each Christmas on employees, the large number of whom, ended up kinda screwing me and the company in the end.  For the remaining faithful, I've decided that an end of the year bonus would be more greatly appreciated than the standard "white elephant" gifts and prime rib.

Bah.  Humbug.

Lastnight I was doing an oil change on truck, had the hood up, and walked into it. Caught my eye right on the corner of the hood. Hurt like hell. It’s a swollen a bit and mildly black and redish. Oh joy - gave myself a black eye!

Nice story, but we all know what really happened -- The wife caught you looking at some obscure rusted hulk that was once a car on Craigslist, and came after you with a frying pan.

Talk about your weird car stories...once I opened my car door on an incline, reached over to pick up something on the seat, and started to get out of the car only to get my head caught between the top of the car and the window...the door swung back to close as I was getting out.  It was an '81 Dodge Mirada with frameless glass, and it almost broke my neck.  Honest.

Boy, was that a car...killer looks, leather seats, 3500lbs with an 85 hp Slant-Six...and looonnng, heavy doors.
