Spring - Summer - Fall activities?
« on: May 20, 2010, 10:02:25 PM »
Now that warmer weather is (mostly) here ... what seasonal activities are back on your schedule/priority lists?

Mine:

walking during my 2 15-minute breaks at work (when weather is nice)

cars (driving and cleaning, when/IF I get the MCs out for the year)

road trips

softball (Elgin City League ... brother-in-law's team Tuesday nights; Dad's team Friday nights)

Laying in the hammock on a breezy day, watching the animals and other shapes as the clouds drift by, and spying as the squirrels hang on tight as the treetops dance.

Smoking a rack of ribs, tending a dutch oven of my famous homemade baked beans, and shucking some fresh corn as a stick of butter softens on the kitchen counter.

Crackin' a cold beer, putting on the Tigers game, and snoozing until I hear the crack of the bat.

Perfect summer / fall day, that.

Interesting!

FWIW, I was in an art class many years ago. The art instructor was Hugh Beaumont's doppelganger.

You may not need to water the garden, but you will have to cut the grass!
