OK, I'll bite on this one if nobody else will.

Hank, for no reason other than being high on big medicine and the king of beers, got himself a taboo idea.  With his new picture of the future in his mind he raced out the backdoor of the junkyard to head off to sin city and get back his girl Marie.  In the process he accidentally hit a man.

With the exception of the title song, the clue encompasses the entire track listing of the album Tied to the Tracks (1989) by Treat Her Right.
