I'll be visiting Berlin next month and I was wondering if you know of any car-related places worth visiting in and around. The only one I'm aware of is the new Meilenwerk, as from what I see almost all museums are located in the southern part of the country. Anything you can add?
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

A very interesting museum is the Deutsches Technikmuseum: http://www.sdtb.de/Home.623.0.html
They have a car department as well. I haven't been there for 20 years, so I can't tell you whether it's worth it, because the car museum part opened in 2011, but the pictures I've seen are promising. Besides the cars, I remember the very impressive railway exhibition with the possibillity to walk beneath some of the steam locomotives.

The new Meilenwerk is just a project which hasn' been realized yet. But there is the old Meilenwerk, now called Classic Remise: http://www.remise.de/Classic-Remise-Berlin-english-summary.php
