Winter's Repose
« on: January 06, 2007, 02:04:10 PM »

Tentatively titled by me as Winter's Repose.  Joey tends to write them without titles.  I need a title of some sorts just to store the file.  Art and Science collide again.  This one reminds me of Summer Madness by Kool and the Gang, hence the title I chose.

If the prior link doesn't work, here is a link to the thread with the file, you have to register there though to see the file.:

Please guys, let me know what you think.

It turns out Joey has lyrics for this one, they are just not recorded yet, and he has a name for it.   In the vein of many a Prince tune, this one is called Sextasy.

This link will work:

Got it to load (finally!)

To my tin ear, this sounds like the Little River Band's "Reminiscing" with the vocals stripped out.

A pleasant enough ditty.

Thanks for listening.  Hearing Joey sing it today, even with his cold, really makes me wish that virus would pass.  :headache:   I look forward to hearing it with the vocals recorded and mixed after his cold is over.
