The former "who is he today" was a great one, Otto. The Dixie Duval episode too (imdb.com has nothing on Teague, or Duval, but nevertheless).
This one (Ronald Reagan) is much easier and, if I may say so, no surprise in this elections time.
What's next?

I got the Dixie picture from a web site I can't currently find. It was a picture Teague's mother gave to girl he was friends with as a youngster, if I recall correctly. Also, deviating slightly from the bio I cribbed, other stories on Dick Teague indicate Dixie was actually credited in a handful of "Our Gang" shorts.

Who's the date in the picture? Famous or not, I recognized neither the man nor the girl.

Can't you tell? The date is clearly Gillian Anderson, the actress!

It's just that she's been teleported into another time. But then again, eerie things are what she used to work with, right?

If you saw a full length shot of both, you'd make no such comparison, I assure you.  ;)

Thanks, I won't die an ignorant. To be honest, although interested in the Nascar legend, I didn't know much of her. But there is a chapter dedicated to her in a great book on my shelf (Dirt Tracks to Glory), with a picture. That's why her face looked familiar.

Your avatar looks familiar, but I know my rank and won't spoil it for the guessers.

Any ideas on my latest?

As for mine, I am curious to see your guess if ever it makes it up to the Pro section.

Who is that Duck?

The Duck of Death? (from what movie comes this line, by the way?)

I don't know about the Duck of Death.

The line in my profile references two things: my previous avatar, and the creatures that are somehow connected with this man.

The "Duck of Death" comes from "Unforgiven"

CLOSE ON A BOOK

The lurid cover, "The Duke of Death" by W. W. Beauchamp.
Little Bill is looking at the cover, his feet propped on his
desk in the county office.  It is night and the office is
     lit with an oil lamp.

                            LITTLE BILL
                      (referring to the book)
Them boys look like real hard
cases.  Did you kill all seven of
'em dead, Bob... or did you just
                   wing some of 'em?

English Bob is lying on his back on a cot in the little cell
a few feet away.  He turns his head toward Little Bill and
his swollen face is horrible to behold.  Of course, he
doesn't answer except with the nasty eye.

                            LITTLE BILL
That is you there, ain't it, Bob?
                   The Duck of Death?

                                WW
                             (daring)
                   Uh... Duke.

WW is in the little cell next to English Bob's.

                            LITTLE BILL
Oh yeah... Duke.  Well, Bob, you
always was hell an' Jesus with a
pistol... but seven of 'em, an'
                   you protectin' the lady too...
                   How'd you do it?

No connection to the avatar pic. That's a declaration of where I'd like to be; nothing more.

Having noticed that Otto had been changing his avatar for that ecstatic youngster ready to eat up that huge plate of Franco American spaghettis in tomato sauce (or are those worms crawling in a pool of bloody stuff), I felt tempted to add a batch of other images of kids with frantic and rather scary expressions (caused by the sight of their favorite dish) on their faces.

"Pork and Beans" and "Ham-Girl" look vaguely demonic.

I haven't seen Post Toasties at the store for years - are they still available up your way, Ultra?

Superbrain or not (will it stay super very long if he keeps smoking big spliffs like this one, that is the question?), we're all happy to see that Otto is done with the shame and the dreaded camera avatar.
Having paid the fine, he's saying goodbye to guilt, a free man again as you can see, doing just what he wants, and preparing for a long career in reggae.
