Many of us girls also love cars as much as men. We all have this burning passion to be able to drive the hottest or sleekest car in the world. Many's the time I've lamented the lack of women here on AutoPuzzles, and I've never been able to fully work out why when there are female enthusiasts out there. Are they just not interested in motoring history? I know they like cars and driving and women are involved in car design, marketing etc etc but it's such a huge area of interest and is just so male-dominated..

Agreed. There are multi-posting women on other websites I frequent - 10/10ths and the infamous Pistonheads. So why not here? Is an interest in the history of motoring and motorsport something that only afflicts the male species?

Years ago there was an Australian lady member of AP.
I still have no idea why she left as she seemed to join in well and I can't recall any of the rest of us doing anything to upset her.
