Boys can do it too, and even in a front-engined car!

Can't we fit a few more girls in here?

My grandpa had one of those Renaults. I despised it. If I had only known they could be so equipped!

Dealing cheese... ::)

Louis ('le rat'), right doesn't know that Gerard, left, is really an Interpol agent and is making an offer for the hashish-filled cheeses in the trunk.  Things will become unpleasant for M. Rat very soon.

Worth a candy bar? To be sure!

The cheese stands alone.

This topic wouldn't be complete without the prettiest and most useful of automotive accessories: Miss Linda Vaughn!
Linda bests that gal in the Renault's "trunk". She bests that guy in the Crosley engine bay! She fits in an engine bay without even REMOVING THE ENGINE!

Linda's a winner!

But let us not forget Jungle Pam Hardy.  I even found her in an engine bay...more or less:

I started this topic with a Dodge, here is another. Maybe the same one. This time the guy standing next to the car (Buck Baker, famous Nascar pilot) managed to shoehorn five gals in the trunk.

This girl is not in the trunk, not on the trunk, not in the engine bay, but she's a certified auto accessory, says the sign.

Many of us girls also love cars as much as men. We all have this burning passion to be able to drive the hottest or sleekest car in the world. I for one love going to car shows and having my picture taken with it. Not only do I love cars but I also know how tho change flat tires. I mean, let's face it . When it comes to working on cars, the popular perception is that the task is more a male activity than female. But it doesn't need to be that way; stereotypes could be transcended. Here's how you can teach girls to understand cars, because it's essential to start children young. You can figure out << embedded spam link removed >>  effortlessly.

Many's the time I've lamented the lack of women here on AutoPuzzles, and I've never been able to fully work out why when there are female enthusiasts out there.  Are they just not interested in motoring history?  I know they like cars and driving and women are involved in car design, marketing etc etc but it's such a huge area of interest and is just so male-dominated..

Agreed.  There are multi-posting women on other websites I frequent - 10/10ths and the infamous Pistonheads. So why not here? Is an interest in the history of motoring and motorsport something that only afflicts the male species?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Years ago there was an Australian lady member of AP.
I still have no idea why she left as she seemed to join in well and I can't recall any of the rest of us doing anything to upset her.
Perhaps GwynneF can post here a photo of a car with what she sees as Useful Accessories 8)
