The car is on its way "home". I'm just trying to dig up some more history on it. It seems like the SCCA rallies of the time didn't get a lot of press...

The car arrived today. Stunning original condition. It drives better than many of the restored cars we have. The documentation and equipment accompanying the car is amazing. Original build sheet. Original window sticker. Original rally timing equipment from 1969, including Tag Heuer stop watches. The original 428 makes tons of power and, even with an automatic transmission, it will roast the tires from a standing start. Mighty impressive. Now if we could only get a little history on the car during its racing years we'd all be much happier...
