I’m sitting in lunch right now when I just saw the news that Luigi Colani sadly passed away 2 days ago. Although my friends around me were confused as to what happened, I surely wasnt.
I’ve always admired Colani’s work with a deep passion for over 5 years. When I started my automobile project, I saw Colani’s Ferrari Testa d’Oro concept for the first time and I thought it was amazing. So amazing in fact that it actually became one of my top 10 favorite cars of all time.
Colani broke huge boundaries in the automobile world with designs like no other. There will never be another designer like him.
