Another strange question...
I'm trying to know more about Emile Claveau, as I've already read different articles in oldtimers french magazine, and I'm in touch with Alain Cerf of the Tampa Bay museum, who's keeping the very last Claveau prototype, the 1955 5CV.
There's a lot of mysteries surrounding the career of Emile Claveau, and we're struggling to find answers.
For instance, we don't know how did he find funds to build his prototypes. And we don't even know who built these... We are sure that Claveau, as skilled as he was, did ask to small shops to create engines, bodies and parts. But we don't have a single name.
Is there anyone who has heard or read about one company who has worked on Claveau projects ?
I'm sure everyone here will measure the incredible legacy that man has left to the automotive architecture.
